Inconel Forged Fittings Equivalent Grade and ASME SB Inconel Equivalent Grades
Inconel 600 Equivalent Grades
Inconel 600 is a popular nickel-chromium alloy that offers excellent resistance to high temperatures and corrosion. It is commonly used in applications that require high strength and good weldability. The equivalent grades of Inconel 600 include ASTM B366 Gr. N06600 and DIN 2.
ASTM B366 Gr. N06600 is an austenitic nickel-chromium-iron alloy with excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures. It also has good resistance to carburization and nitriding environments. This makes it ideal for use in chemical processing, aerospace, and nuclear industries.
DIN 2 is a German standard for nickel-based alloys that are resistant to high temperatures and corrosion. It has similar properties to ASTM B366 Gr. N06600 but may have slightly different composition requirements.
Inconel 625 Equivalent Grades
Inconel 625 is another popular nickel-chromium alloy that offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and oxidation at high temperatures. Its unique combination of properties makes it suitable for use in various industries such as aerospace, marine engineering, chemical processing, and power generation.
The equivalent grades of Inconel 625 include ASTM B366 Gr. N06625 and DIN 2. ASTM B366 Gr. N06625 has excellent fatigue strength, stress-corrosion cracking resistance, pitting resistance, crevice corrosion resistance, and intergranular attack resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
DIN 2 has similar properties to ASTM B366 Gr.N06625 but may have slightly different composition requirements. It is also used in high-temperature applications such as gas turbines, heat exchangers, and chemical processing equipment.
Inconel 718 Equivalent Grades
Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium alloy that offers excellent strength, ductility, and toughness at high temperatures. It is commonly used in aerospace, automotive, and oil and gas industries.
The equivalent grades of Inconel 718 include ASTM B366 Gr. N07718 and DIN 2.4668. ASTM B366 Gr.N07718 has excellent corrosion resistance to various environments such as seawater, acids, and alkalis. It also has good weldability and can be easily fabricated into complex parts.
DIN 2.4668 is a German standard for nickel-based alloys that are resistant to high temperatures and corrosion. It has similar properties to ASTM B366 Gr.N07718 but may have slightly different composition requirements.
Inconel 718 Tubes
Inconel X750 Tubes
Inconel X750 tubes are made of a nickel-chromium alloy with added titanium and aluminum, which makes them highly resistant to both corrosion and high temperatures. They are often used in aerospace applications, as well as in petrochemical processing equipment.
