Grades of Hastelloy Round Bars and Rods
Hastelloy C276
This is one of the most widely used grades of Hastelloy and offers excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of aggressive environments, including oxidizing and reducing acids. It contains a high amount of nickel, along with chromium and molybdenum. Hastelloy C276 round bars and rods are commonly used in chemical processing, petrochemical industry, and pollution control equipment.
Hastelloy C22
This grade of Hastelloy is known for its exceptional resistance to a wide range of corrosive media, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and chlorides. It contains high amounts of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, along with tungsten. Hastelloy C22 round bars and rods are used in applications such as chemical processing, pharmaceutical industry, and flue gas desulfurization systems.
Hastelloy B2
This grade is highly resistant to hydrochloric acid and other non-oxidizing acids. It contains a high amount of nickel, along with molybdenum and iron. Hastelloy B2 round bars and rods are commonly used in chemical processing, pharmaceutical industry, and pickling operations.
Hastelloy X
This grade of Hastelloy is a high-temperature alloy that offers excellent oxidation resistance and high strength at elevated temperatures. It contains high amounts of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, along with small additions of aluminum and cobalt.
