Om Steel is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of high-quality Aluminium Alloy Plates designed to meet the diverse needs of various industries. Our range of aluminium alloy plates is made of premium quality aluminium and alloy materials, ensuring superior strength and durability.

Our aluminium alloy plates are carefully sourced from reputable manufacturers who uphold stringent quality control standards. We understand the importance of delivering products that meet industry specifications and surpass customer expectations. Whether you require aluminium alloy plates for structural components, intricate fabrication, or any other specific purpose, we have the right solution to meet your requirements.

One of the key advantages of aluminium alloy plates is their lightweight nature. This feature makes them an excellent choice for applications where weight reduction is critical, such as aerospace components or transportation vehicles. Despite their lightweight, aluminium alloy plates exhibit remarkable strength, enabling them to withstand demanding conditions and provide structural integrity.

Another notable characteristic of aluminium alloy plates is their exceptional corrosion resistance. Aluminium naturally forms a protective oxide layer, which prevents further oxidation and protects the underlying material from corrosion. This inherent resistance to corrosion makes aluminium alloy plates well-suited for applications in marine environments, where exposure to saltwater and harsh weather conditions is common.

Furthermore, aluminium alloy plates offer excellent formability and machinability, allowing for a wide range of fabrication options. Whether you need to bend, weld, or machine the plates to meet your specific design requirements, aluminium alloys offer the flexibility and ease of processing needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Om Steel offers an extensive range of aluminium alloy plates in various grades, sizes, and finishes to suit diverse applications. Our knowledgeable team is always ready to assist you in selecting the right aluminium alloy plate for your project, providing expert advice and guidance along the way. We prioritize customer satisfaction and strive to deliver products that meet your unique specifications.

Aluminium Alloy Plates Series

1000 Series

These are the purest form of aluminium alloy plates and are known for their excellent corrosion resistance and high thermal conductivity. They are commonly used in chemical processing, food processing, and soft drink industries.

2000 Series

These alloy plates are known for their high strength and toughness. They are often used in aerospace applications, as well as in military and defense industries.

3000 Series

These plates are known for their excellent resistance to corrosion and are commonly used in marine applications, as well as in the construction and transportation industries.

5000 Series

These plates are known for their excellent strength and formability, making them ideal for use in the automotive and aerospace industries.

6000 Series

These plates are known for their excellent combination of strength, formability, and corrosion resistance. They are commonly used in the construction and transportation industries.

7000 Series

These plates are known for their high strength and toughness, making them ideal for use in structural applications, such as in the construction and aerospace industries.

Grades of Aluminum Alloy Plates

Each type of aluminum alloy plate has different grades that are classified based on their properties and characteristics. The most common grades include 6061, 7075, and 2024.

6061 Grade

The 6061 grade is a popular choice for general-purpose applications due to its excellent strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. It is commonly used in structural components such as frames and supports.

7075 Grade

The 7075 grade is a high-strength alloy that is commonly used in aerospace applications due to its ability to withstand extreme stress and fatigue. It has excellent machinability but poor corrosion resistance.

2024 Grade

The 2024 grade is a high-strength alloy that is commonly used in aircraft structures due to its ability to withstand high stress and fatigue. It has good machinability but poor corrosion resistance.

Finishes of Aluminum Alloy Plates

Mill Finish Plates

This is the natural finish of aluminium alloy plates, straight from the mill. It has a rough and dull appearance, with visible marks and scratches. It is suitable for applications where appearance is not a primary concern.

Brushed Finish Plates

This finish involves brushing the surface of the aluminium alloy plate with an abrasive material to create a consistent directional pattern. It gives the plate a shiny and smooth appearance, making it ideal for decorative and architectural applications.

Polished Finish Plates

This finish involves polishing the surface of the aluminium alloy plate to a mirror-like shine. It is achieved using a combination of abrasives, buffing wheels, and polishing compounds. It is suitable for applications that require a high level of reflectivity, such as lighting fixtures, reflective signs, and decorative accents.

Anodized Finish Plates

This is a chemical treatment that forms a protective layer on the surface of the aluminium alloy plate. It improves the plate’s durability, corrosion resistance, and appearance. Anodized aluminium alloy plates come in different colors and finishes, such as matte, brushed, and glossy. They are suitable for a wide range of applications, including aerospace, construction, and automotive industries.

Powder-Coated Finish Plates

This finish involves applying a dry powder to the surface of the aluminium alloy plate and then baking it at high temperatures. The result is a durable and long-lasting finish that is resistant to chipping, fading, and scratching. Powder-coated aluminium alloy plates come in different colors and textures, making them ideal for decorative and architectural applications.
