Hastelloy Tubes

Hastelloy tubes are a type of high-performance alloy tube that is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and corrosive environments. These tubes are commonly used in heat exchangers, which are devices that transfer heat between two fluids without allowing them to mix.

Types of Hastelloy UNS N Tubes

Hastelloy C-276 Tubes

One of the most popular types of Hastelloy UNS N tubes is Hastelloy C-276. This type of tube is known for its excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It is also highly resistant to a wide range of aggressive chemicals such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and chlorine gas. These properties make it ideal for use in chemical processing plants, pulp and paper mills, and other industrial applications where corrosive substances are present.

Hastelloy B-2 Tubes

This tube is highly resistant to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. It also has good resistance to sulfuric acid and other non-oxidizing acids. These properties make it ideal for use in chemical processing plants where hydrochloric acid is used extensively.

Hastelloy X Tubes

Hastelloy X tubes are known for their high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance up to 2200°F. They are commonly used in gas turbine engines, furnace components, and other high-temperature applications where strength and durability are critical.

Hastelloy G-30 Tubes

This type of tube is commonly used in the production of fertilizers, petrochemicals, and other chemicals that require the use of phosphoric acid or other oxidizing agents.

Hastelloy C-22 Tubes

This tube is known for its versatility in resisting a wide range of corrosive chemicals, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and chlorine gas. It is commonly used in chemical processing plants and other industrial applications where aggressive chemicals are present.
