Inconel Round Bars and Rods

Inconel round bars and rods are widely recognized for their exceptional properties and versatility in various industrial applications. At Om Steel, we specialize in manufacturing high-quality Inconel round bars and rods that deliver outstanding performance.

One of the key features of Inconel round bars and rods is their remarkable resistance to corrosion. Inconel alloys, such as Inconel 625 and Inconel 718, exhibit excellent resistance to oxidation, pitting, and crevice corrosion in both high-temperature and corrosive environments. This makes them highly suitable for applications where corrosion resistance is paramount.

In addition to their corrosion resistance, Inconel round bars and rods offer exceptional mechanical properties. They possess high tensile strength, good ductility, and excellent toughness, enabling them to withstand extreme conditions and heavy loads without deformation. This makes them ideal for applications that require reliable performance under demanding circumstances.

Furthermore, Inconel round bars and rods demonstrate remarkable heat resistance, allowing them to maintain their mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. They can withstand thermal cycling and remain stable, making them suitable for high-temperature applications such as aerospace, power generation, and chemical processing.

At Om Steel, we maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure the superior quality of our Inconel round bars and rods. Our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Grades of Inconel Round Bars and Rods

Inconel 600

This is a nickel-chromium alloy known for its excellent resistance to high temperatures and oxidation. It offers good corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments and is often used in furnace components, chemical processing, and heat exchangers.

Inconel 625

This grade of Inconel provides superior resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. It contains a high amount of nickel, along with molybdenum and niobium. Inconel 625 round bars and rods are commonly used in chemical processing, marine applications, and aerospace industry.

Inconel 718

This is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy known for its high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It is often used in applications requiring high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance, such as gas turbine components and cryogenic storage tanks.

Inconel 825

This grade of Inconel is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with added molybdenum and copper. It offers excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, including sulfuric acid and seawater. Inconel 825 round bars and rods are used in chemical processing, nuclear industry, and marine applications.

Inconel 601

This grade is a high-temperature nickel-chromium alloy with added aluminum for improved resistance to oxidation and carburization. It is commonly used in heat-treating applications, furnace components, and the petrochemical industry.

These are some of the commonly used types of Inconel round bars and rods. The choice of Inconel grade depends on the specific requirements of the application, including high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and mechanical properties.
