Grades of Titanium Round bars and Rods[h2]

 

Grade 2 Titanium[h3]

 

This is the most common and widely used grade of titanium. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, and high strength. Grade 2 titanium round bars and rods are commonly used in various industries, including aerospace, chemical processing, and medical applications.

 

Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V)[h3] 

This grade is an alloy consisting of titanium, aluminum, and vanadium. It is known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent corrosion resistance, and good biocompatibility. Grade 5 titanium round bars and rods are commonly used in aerospace applications, as well as in the medical field for implants and prosthetics.

 

Grade 9 Titanium (Ti-3Al-2.5V)[h3]

 

This grade is an alloy of titanium, aluminum, and vanadium. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, while being lighter than Grade 5 titanium. Grade 9 titanium round bars and rods are commonly used in aerospace applications, marine components, and sports equipment.

 

Grade 23 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V ELI)[h3]

 

This grade is an extra-low interstitial version of Grade 5 titanium, which means it has even higher purity and improved ductility. It is commonly used in medical and dental applications, including implants and surgical instruments, due to its excellent biocompatibility.
