Types of Hastelloy Plate Available

Hastelloy C-276 Plate

Hastelloy C-276 plate is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy that provides excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments containing oxidizing and reducing media. It is widely used in chemical processing industries such as sulfuric acid production, pulp and paper manufacturing, and waste treatment facilities. The C-276 plate is also highly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.

Hastelloy B2 Plate

Hastelloy B2 plate is another nickel-molybdenum alloy that provides superior resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. It also offers excellent resistance to other strong acids such as sulfuric acid, acetic acid, phosphoric acid, and organic acids. The B2 plate has low carbon content which minimizes carbide precipitation during welding.

Hastelloy X Plate

Hastelloy X plate is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy that provides exceptional strength at high temperatures up to 2200°F (1204°C). It exhibits good oxidation resistance up to 1900°F (1038°C) making it suitable for use in gas turbine engines, industrial furnace applications, and aircraft parts.

Hastelloy G30 Plate

Hastelloy G30 plate is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum-copper alloy that provides superior resistance to phosphoric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. It also offers excellent corrosion resistance in reducing environments containing sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid solutions with low chloride ion concentrations. The G30 plate is often used in chemical processing industries such as fertilizer production and pickling operations.

Hastelloy C-22 Plate

Hastelloy C-22 plate is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy that provides excellent resistance to both oxidizing and reducing media. It offers superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-containing environments. The C-22 plate is commonly used in pharmaceutical, chemical processing, and pollution control equipment.
